Q. Is there a minimum order?
A. No, you can order any quantity you require.
Q. Is delivery included in the price?
A. Yes, delivery is included in all prices quoted.
Q. Is it possible to have a delivery on a Saturday?
A. Yes, we can deliver to you on a Saturday. However, there is a £25 surcharge applied to all Saturday deliveries.
Q. Can you specify A.M or P.M delivery?
A. We can, although there will be a £10 surcharge applied. We are 98% successful in our specific delivery times.
Q. Is VAT included in the price?
A. All prices quoted include VAT as well as delivery.
Q. What is the required notice for delivery?
A. If the order is placed before 2pm, the delivery will be next-day unless you request otherwise. However, we make no deliveries on a Sunday.
Q. Do you deliver to where I live?
A. Yes; we deliver to all parts of the UK.
Q. I've never laid turf before. Do you have any hints or tips to help me?
A. Laying turf is a fairly straightforward job, provided you plan ahead for it. Unfortunately we can't provide a laying service, but if you have any further questions please contact us.
Q. What is the delivery charge?
A. The delivery charge is calculated by quantity, variety of turf, weight and the destination of the turf. The price quoted includes this charge.
Q. Will I receive a receipt or invoice?
A. You will receive a confirmation email, which will stand as a receipt and invoice.
Q. How will the turf be delivered, and where will it be put?
A. The turf will be delivered on a pallet by one of our highly skilled drivers using a taillift. We will leave your turf on the kerbside, and it will be your responsibility to move it from there.
Q. What do I do with the empty pallet?
A. We ask our customers to dispose of the pallets safely as our haulier doesn't re-collect them.
Q. Does somebody need to be at home for delivery?
A. No. However, as our haulage company usually requires a signature we ask that you let us know in advance if you're not going to be at home.
Q. Am I required to use topsoil underneath my turf?
A. If your soil levels are uneven, or you have bad soil, then we strongly recommend topsoil. Otherwise, no.
Q. What do I do with the fertiliser?
A. Use fertiliser sparingly over prepared ground. Lightly rake over the soil, and then carefully lay your turf on top and water it all in. Use only the quantities specified on the bag, as over or under fertilising may damage your turf. Store any leftover fertiliser in an airtight sealed bag, and keep away from animals and children at all times.
